Alla Rossow:
Flowers Bloom Here

May 3-31 2025

Alla Rossow graduated from the College of Fine Art and Design in the Soviet Union in 1978. Working in the interior design industry most of her life, Rossow began painting and exploring other areas of visual art after moving to the United States. Whilst working as a designer, she began to develop her signature collage technique, which she utilizes to capture snapshots of nature. Today, Rossow’s work is part of many private collections across the U.S. and beyond.

Featured in the exhibition “Flowers Bloom Here” are a selection of the artist’s florals, including both collages and paintings.

Pullie: Remnants of My Work

June 6–27, 2025

“Pullie: Remnants of My Work” highlights the work of O’Neal Pullie, a figurehead in our artistic community, who has been teaching art to young minds in the area for decades. Featuring mediums from colored pencil and watercolor to acrylic paints and sculpted styrofoam, Pullie’s presentation weaves a rich narrative of widespread life experiences and creative encounters, selected to coincide with the celebration of Juneteenth.

“This art exhibition provides me with the opportunity to showcase my artwork and reflect on the journey that has brought me to my current place. In the past, I primarily created traditional landscapes and still lifes. However, having the opportunity to exhibit for Juneteenth inspired me to incorporate some of my thoughts on my culture. My piece titled ‘Fate Worse than Death’ captures my interpretation of how Africans might have felt when they witnessed slavers arriving on their shores.”

Horizons & Hues:
The Work of Jack Pardue

June 6–July 26, 2025

Jack Pardue is known as one of this country’s leading artists. His paintings, ranging from commissioned portraits to landscapes, and everything in between, radiate light and make creative, inventive, and surprising use of color. Jack spent his earliest days as a student, getting called to the principal's office for drawing portraits of classmates. His early passion graduated into advanced skills in drawing as a teenager and eventually took him to formal studies.

“Horizons and Hues” is presented in memory of Jack, who was a skilled painter and a passionate teacher, and whose practice has and continues to inspire generations of artists.
