Etiquette Camp

Date: July 8-11

Time: 1-3 PM (Monday-Wednesday) 1-4 PM (Thursday) Parents are invited to join for a tea party and presentation Thursday July 11th from 3-4 PM

Grade: Rising 2nd-5th

Etiquette instruction is so much more than bow ties and table settings. It’s an opportunity to encourage compassion, empathy, and awareness of the needs of others while improving the social intelligence of the next generation.

Instruction of this 4-day camp includes:

Day 1 - Sitting, walking, talking, shaking hands, dressing well, along with phone table manners and prioritizing the people in your presence through activities such as balancing paper plates on your head, conversation beach ball, and line dance.

Day 2 - Table manners, using napkins, ordering from a menu, navigating buffets, and how to handle mishaps through activities such as table setting contest, pretend restaurant, hands on fork and knife practice, along with the Box Step.

Day 3 - Choosing thoughtful gifts with gratitude, and how to be a good guest and/or host.

Day 4 - Afternoon tea party experience. Parents are invited to join from 3-4 PM for students to show off what they’ve learned during camp!
