This semester’s visual arts offering will take the form of an engaging pottery class, designed to captivate young minds through hands-on exploration of slab, pinch, and coil techniques. Students will sculpt their masterpieces, from whimsical pinch pot creatures to textured clay plaques and coil-built snakes! The journey begins with a play dough warm-up, ensuring a fun and educational experience, and moves into creating functional items with earthenware clay. Students will glaze their work and have it fired in a kiln for them.
This class is for K-5th graders.
