Art Play, Choice-Based Art Camp
Date: July 28 - August 1
Time: 10AM-12PM
Grade: PreK-2nd
Instructor: Kim Wilkerson
Location: Madrin Studio (115 N. Poindexter St)
Create, explore, and play! This camp is designed with our youngest artists in mind. Using a choice-based approach, students will rotate through a variety of hands-on art stations featuring painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, collage, and more. Inspired by the Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB) model, kids will learn to think like artists by choosing materials, making decisions, and bringing their own ideas to life in a playful, nurturing environment.
Campers should wear comfortable, moveable clothing they don’t mind getting a little messy. Please send a water bottle and a snack each day to keep your camper energized and hydrated!
