July 28-August 1, located in the Maguire Theater 2nd floor of the AOA main building (516 E. Main St)
Get ready to shine on stage at our Broadway Dance Camp! Campers will explore the exciting world of Musical Theater through high-energy dance classes that focus on technique, performance skills, and proper dance terminology. We’ll also dive into what to expect at dance auditions and callbacks, and help young performers to improve confidence and stage presence.
In the 3rd–6th grade session, campers will learn a fun, expressive routine to “Big Time” from Better Nate Than Ever.
In the 6th–12th grade session will take on the upbeat and character-driven “What’s Up, Duloc?” from Shrek The Musical.
Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this camp is all about having fun and learning what it takes to bring a Broadway number to life!
Make sure to bring:
Comfortable, moveable dance clothes (no jeans or skirts)
Jazz shoes or sneakers with good grip
Water bottle
